Scholarship Opportunity
The Roquan Smith Foundation Scholarship Fund was established in the year 2022 to provide additional financial support to students graduating from Macon County High School in Montezuma Georgia. The goal of the scholarship funds is to assist recipients and their families with the initial financial adjustment to post-secondary educational expenses such as tuition, books, and necessary supplies required to establish a successful foundational year.
Scholarships to 5 recipients are funded annually by The Roquan Smith Foundation. For 2024, recipients will receive $5,000 each.
Eligibility

Scholarships are limited to Macon County High School seniors registered in a college or technical school

The applicant has shown determination for classroom academic achievement

No candidate shall be denied being a recipient of this scholarship on the basis of race, creed, sex, religion, national origin, or any other basis which is prohibited by Section 501 (C) (3) of The Internal Revenue Code
How to Apply
Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted through the link provided on the Website (roquan.org).
Application Deadline
Completed applications must be submitted no later than July 15, 2024. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
Scholarship awards will be sent directly to the student’s chosen college/university. Recipient must provide The Roquan Smith Foundation with verification of collegiate registration for scholarship payment
